Inclusive Arts Workshops With Polly

Polly Medlicott, M.Ed. is available to lead an inclusive arts workshop at Conferences, Trainings or Community Screenings.

You can increase the impact and outcomes of showing A New Kind of Listening by bringing co-producer and film character Polly Medlicott to your event. Prior to the screening, Polly can provide an introduction to the film and advocacy campaign.  And following the screening she can lead a Q & A  and  moderate a panel discussion with local experts in the arts and inclusion.

The day following a screening, Polly offers a two hour, experiential inclusive arts workshop. The first hour includes inclusive playful improvisation experiences which can be enjoyed by people with and without disabilities and people with no previous theater experience. The second hour provides an overview of the process for starting a successful arts project that is fully inclusive and accessible — in your own community!  A take-home CD is also included.  Polly can modify and tailor the structure and length of a workshop and welcomes collaboration with local partners to create an experience that meets the needs and goals of participants and local organizers.

Polly’s workshop offer  participants a direct experience of inclusive collaborative arts and a comprehensive, practical model with tools for building inclusive arts initiatives in any community.

Cost is a negotiated honorarium plus travel, lodging and meal expenses. Please contact Polly at inclusion@anewkindoflistening for further information and questions.
