Raise Money for Your Organization, Join the Inclusive Arts Campaign!
By charging a small admission fee to a screening and selling DVD’s at the event, you cover the price of this kit, raise funds for your programs, and get great publicity for your organization. The free Organizer’s Toolkit gives you tips and templates for getting the word out about your screening event and expanding inclusive arts efforts locally. This package includes one community-licensed DVD for your non-profit organization and five Home Use DVD’s you can sell. Contact us with any questions or if you wish to organize a larger fundraising event (100+ people).
TASH is an international organization seeking equity, opportunity and inclusion for people with disabilities. A New Kind of Listening was selected for the 2010 TASH Positive Images in the Media Award because it demonstrates new possibilities for community inclusion, communication and friendship. The film is a valuable resource for educators, students and service providers in the disability field.
– Barb Trader, Executive Director, TASH
I have watched many ‘expanding inclusive arts’ efforts come about over the years, yet it seems that the glue to really getting it off the ground this time was the showing of the documentary and the community dialogue and events that followed. I was very glad to be a part of this.
